Intro
This article explains how to add a shortcut to your start-up menu to automatically open UnicastLite as minimized when logging on to Windows.
Applies to version 2.0.7.0 and above.
To create and add a shortcut to your startup menu that will start UnicastLite minimized.
- Right click on the windows desktop and in the context menu choose New > Shortcut.
- In the "Create Shortcut" dialogue click the [Browse...] button.
- In the file browser locate the folder in which you installed UnicastLite and select the "UnicastLite.exe" file, the default location is "C:\Program Files\BlueAd\Unicast Lite\UnicastLite.exe".
- Click [Next >] enter a name for your shortcut eg "Start UnicastLite Minized" and click [Finish].
- You now have a shortcut on your desktop, right click the shortcut and choose "Properties" from the context menu.
- In the properties dialog go to the "Target:" textbox you should see the path to your installation of the "UnicastLite.exe" file surrounded by double quotes. Immediately after the last double quote add a space then the word Minimize. (See screen shot below)

- Finally left click and hold on the shortcut, with the left button still held down drag the shortcut over the Start menu, then drag it to All Programs, drag in into Startup and while hovering over the submenu of Startup release the left button.
- Optionally delete the shortcut from your desktop.
