To help you understand the changes we have made to Unicast the screenshots below show the main screens in the application, an explain how to get around your new software.
| Main Screen |
 |
| The screen shot above shows the Unicast Lite main screen, there is currently no active campaign but activity is visible on the activity screen, the application is currently monitoring Bluetooth footfall. From the main screen the scan rate can be adjusted and a Stats panel shows the status of the running Bluetooth campaign including the conversion rate, a visual prompt as to the effectiveness of your campaign. |
| Campaign Manager |
 |
The screen shot above shows the Unicast Lite campaign manager screen, accessed from the Campaigns tab.
From this page you can create a new Bluetooth marketing campaign. Below is an explanation of the features.
- Campaign Name - Type the name you want to reference the campaign by here.
- Campaign File - Use the browse button to select a suitable file from the local machine.
- Business Card - If you want to send your contact information in the form of a buisness card as well as a marketing message you can use the browse button and add a contact file from your local machine.
- Alternative Text - Some phones cannot receive the type of information you want to broadcast, to ensure a message is delivered to them where possible Unicast Lite sends a text file when all else fails. If you want to force the text file to send where possible tick the box Always send the text as well.
- Send time out - NEW FEATURE This is the number of seconds Unicast Lite waits for a user to accept/deny a message before abandoning and re-trying. The default setting for campaigns is 45 seconds. Varying the timeout dependent on the footfall you experience will promote better advert conversion rates.
- Enabled - To hide campaigns from the campaign selector on Unicast Lite you can Enable/Disable the campaign using this tick box.
- Auto start-up - Unicast Lite supports auto campaign running on start, this can be useful where machines are rebooted, or need to automatically start a campaign on boot up.
- Valid From/To - Setup the valid range of dates this campaign is allowed to run for, the campaign will not be available on the campaign selector outside of these dates.
- Pin Code - NEW FEATURE Some phones require a pin code to be entered to accept your marketing message, where you have visual promotion of your campaign running, you can advertise a suitable pin code for users to enter, this code is limited to 4 numeric characters.
